If it wasn't for U2, there is a lot of bands I would have never liked. Keep in mind, a lot of these have nothing to do with U2, but I found out about them only because I liked U2. (If that doesn't make sense, don't worry)

Clannad
Gavin Friday
Savage Garden(because the singer loves U2)
Mono
Gomez
Ash
Rolling Stones
The Cure
Duran Duran

Then there are movies: In the name of the father, The Boxer, Faraway so close. If it wasn't for U2, I never would have even heard of these movies.

I don't read enough to have any favorite writers, but I liked Margaret Atwood(I don't know if that is her name or not, but I think it's close) before I heard Acrobat was based on some of her stuff. And I should get into Oscar Wilde, but I haven't yet.

That's it for me. I'm sorry if this makes no sense but I'm really tired and not thinking too straight.

Later,
Mofogirl
