(JAN. 2) WENN/P - BOYZONE AND U2'S MILLENNIUM GET-
TOGETHER Irish music legends U2 and BOYZONE are being
tipped to top the bill at a millennium spectacular in Dublin next
New Year's Eve (31DEC99).
The POINT THEATRE has been booked for a huge concert,
which will also be broadcast live on TV.
Tickets for the charity bash of a lifetime will cost $2,400
(=9C1,500) each, with all proceeds going to the Childline
children's charity.
ARRGGGGG!!! I was planning to go to Ireland for this and now the tickets are
$2,400!!! Looks like I wont be seeing that show!!!! I guess I will have to
make do without seeing the boys on my first trip to the Emerald Isle. ( sigh
)
