Ebay and the over-use of the word rare

I know this is a subject that gets touched on a lot, but I was just going
through a lot of stuff and shaking my head.

My favorite is the *rare* Popheart live EP that I can go to any store here
in calgary and find it for about $7.49. Then there's the New Year's Day
single that pops up every week, the remix version & the normal 12". How
about the *ultra rare* Numb video that you can buy from Amazon for like
$5.00US, the GH with ridiculous reserve prices, and the Sweetest Thing
single, starting at like $8.99 when you can buy it for $4.99 up here. And
then there's the CD-r's. Someone was charging $15 once for a CD-r of the
Stay single. That is sick.

But the worst I ever saw was someone saying *rare* U2 October LP, hard to
find because it didn't go platinum. Any record store I go to has tons of
copies of October (I got one in near mint) for like $5 or $6. Hope nobody
gets ripped off too bad.
