U2's Greatest Hits is the biggest selling album of the year in Ireland.
Despite only being released in October, it sold more than twice the amount
their nearest rival (George Michael/The Corrs) sold.............The Sweetest
Thing is the 23rd best selling single of the year (winner, some
French-Canadian warbler singing about a big ship sinking!!) ...........
This month's Q magazine has "Bono - 1998 diary of a year" a 3 page spread on
Bono's muses of the year........it's also Q's 100 best songs of the all time
issue "WOWY" was 56 (I think) and "ONE" was 24th.........It was won by
Nirvana.
