U.S. chart update

hey there wireland, it's time for a quick chart update.

Here in the US, U2 had a so so week on the album charts. The two best
of's passed eachother by as the b-side version fell big from from 45
to 56, and the single disc version jumped up moderately from 58 to 53.

I disagree with John H. that the albums will stick around on the chart
for a while. I think if they stick around anywhere it will be in the
bottom hundred.

Sweetest Thing went UP from 14 to 12 on the Adult top 40 chart this
week after 14 weeks.

After 14 weeks it drops out of the top ten during a strange week on
the Modern Rock charts. Why strange? Almost every song on the chart
got increased airplay including Sweetest Thing, but it seems that most
songs stayed in the same position or moved down.

That's about all.

let's hope that with the good airplay that Sweetest Thing is getting
that it will prompt radio stations to give good airplay to new U2
songs when the new album is finished!
