I say this in regards to the response to the U2 Hate Page. This woman
has well formulated ideas and has obviously put some degree of research
into the page. Some of our stupidest members on Wire have taken the
argument "Get a life! Why would you waste your time doing a page on a
subject you dont like" I'll tell you exactly why she's "wasting her
time." It's to get these generic, stupid-ass insults from you people.
If you're going to write her, put some thought into it and make an
intelligent arguement. She certainly has made an intelligent arguement
against U2. Anything that generates this much attention and incites our
less-inspired Wirelings to vent some misplaced emotion can only be a
good thing. She's not wasting her time. So keep that hate-mail coming,
let's try for complete sentences this week. And keep clutching your
Bono doll and muttering "It's just not true," because everything's
gonna be alright.
