some remarks/questions

Hello Wire!

I have some tidbits of information for you, and some questions.
First, in the latest issue of Q magazine (February, with the 100 best
singles on the cover) there is again a bit about/from U2. Bono reviews
1998 in his own words. That article is quite nice (apart from the fact
that the person giving the background information says that Bono's wife
is Ally instead of Ali, but hey, it could have been worse). B-man even
mentions the good review of the Popmart video they got in the edition
before. (BTW, this is the third consecutive issue with a substantial
piece of/about U2. The December issue had the interview with The Edge
and the album review, January had the video review and now Bono's
piece).
More U2 in the same mag: They have 2 entries in the best 100 singles
list. WOWY is 47 and One is 24 (#1 is Nirvana's Smell like...). Finally,
in their chart of the 10 best things to happen in 1999 they list U2's
1990-1999 compilation. I say: Don't believe this release, but it is
always nice to see it listed.

I also have a question. I was looking at http://www.Amazon.com and
performed a search on U2. Among their new releases featuring U2 I found
this album: WBCN Naked Disc: A Collection of Unreleased Performances.
Track 1 is Staring at the Sun. My question is, if this is a live
performance which is unavailable elsewhere, or just the album track. Any
info will be appreciated.

Thanks

Marty

P.S. I have finally updated my list of U2 releases. So if anybody wants
this list (of all officially released U2 tracks), mail me. The list is
in Excel 5.
