Can someone with a better memory than I refresh us here? Wasn't there
either a bit in the Flanagan bible or in Willie's tour diaries in
Propaganda than tell the story of Bono seeing someone in the audience
wearing a Kill Bono T-shirt and laughing? And didn't he get the t-shirt and
wear it himself?
come on, now, sometimes it really is just a joke. .
not that we aren't concerned about the possibility of extreme fans =
violent behavior. . . ever since Lennon's assassination, I'm a little wary
of my rock stars venturing out in public without their handlers and
protection, though of course, it pains me to see that this is a necessary
side of being in the public eye.
it Bono can laugh it off, so can we
