I think its about time U2 made an album, "as if they were dead". They have
been trailing behind a little in the past few years, following, as it were.
(Just listen to the eerie melodies in "The New U2" tapes ("Salome"), and
see how they are converted into the rougher sound of Achtung Baby.

I didn't need a U2 dance album, really (though I liked it).

Its about the soul, not the dance floor.

Lets get direct.
