I remember back when we were waiting for POP to arrive, and a rumor hit
the internet (WIRE) that the *new album* would be called POP. Many didn't
believe it and lambasted the poor person who first brought the rumor.
Others cried in disbelief, while a few just sat back and waited for the
whole story to come out.
Note to self: I'm not passing judgement on *ANY* of the rumors that come
through wire until I hear something official from U2 or Polygram.
I think we should all just bite our lips when we read a rumor we don't
like or agree with or believe. We don't need all the mud slinging that is
going on right now.
