Actually , Prarit, that is almost correct.

True, 'Acrobat' was performed live (numberous times) during practice
sessions and soundchecks in Hershey, PA throughout the week of August
1-6, 1992, leading up to the "Outside Broadcast Dress Rehearsal Concert"
which was held on Friday, August 7, 1992. But 'Acrobat' was not played
at the August 7 concert (the only concert in Hershey for which tickets
were sold. Tickets were only $15! and all the money went to local
charities.) I know this because I was there, and it was, by far, the
BEST U2 concert that I have ever attended.

Things happened at this concert that never happened again, and the
setlist was even a shock (imagine that you are waiting for U2 to emerge
to George Bush's "We Will Rock You" rant, but unexpectantly, as the
concert is about to begin, the stage goes black, a spotlight hits the
band, and U2 emerges to perform a rocking version of 'SUNDAY BLOODY
SUNDAY' (*as the first song at a ZooTV show*)! The band then went into
'Pride' and 'New Year's Day' *before* the George Bush rant starts and
then the band then launched into full 'Zoo Station'/'The Fly'/'Even
Better Than The Real Thing' mode.

I was also in Hershey on Wednesday, August 5, 1992 (to buy the tickets
in person after a 3 1/2 hour car ride) and got to hear the band (from
outside the stadium) perform a partial dress rehearsal. It was at this
partial dress rehearsal that I got to hear George Bush's "We Will Rock
You" rant for the first time on the ZooTV tour and 'Acrobat' perfrmed
for the first and only time in my lfet, but once again, I was outside
the empty stadium and apparently "Acrobat" just didn't work as an
opening (acoustic) number. DAMN!

If anyone was in Hershey that night or that week, I would love to hear
from you (especially if you were one of the 5 or so people who I saw
videotapng the show. haha). Anyway, I'd love to hear from you.

What a night!

Just wanted to clear up the date. This is brought up from time to time.

Take care everybody.

-Mike
