OK, enough of the U2 sucks page et al! Let's talk about something
else.....like the upcoming New Years Eve.....does anyone have plans out
there????? It sounds to me like the Party 2000 isn't going to pan out, and
you know that if U2 is gonna play anywhere, it's gonna be in Dublin (without
Boyzone, yuch), so......
I had this brilliant (sic) idea of going to Death Valley and ringing in 2000
under The Joshua Tree. Oh so wrong. Furnace Creek Resort, the only place
to stay in the Park, is already booked up (as is nearby Las Vegas, been
booked up for years). Looks like I'll stay home, we've got joshua trees
here, anyway!
My favorite store, Trader Joes (throughout the southwest US), is even
telling their customers to buy champagne NOW as there will be a shortage
come New Years....better stock up kids!
Any ideas out there? Has anybody even thought about this yet or am I the
only one? It seems that someone would be putting together some sort of Wire
party......
