Hallo again wire..:)

Well in a fit of total uselessness at University last nite, i did a
search on Ebay for some cool U2 stuff, and i have to say i was slightly
agast and slightly suprized by what i saw.

First off, sure eBay is a great idea.. but alot of these ppl are getting
ripped off..

Take this for instance.. Someone was selling that U2 calander (1999)
which I SWEAR on me grandpappy's grave is selling EVERYWHERE here (in
Canada) for only $24.99. What is the price of it on eBay so far?
$45.00! HELLO??? People try to rip off very common stuff as rare and
hard to find or only give limited info about it so ppl who don't really
know all that well what something is think "HEY! this must be rare!"

Now, I know what yer all thinking.. this is the key to seeling on eBay
right? This is the trick. But i'm sorry.. I hate to see innocent ppl
who think they are getting something RARE only to find out when it
arrive at their doorstep, the could have gotten in down the street for
half the price.

NOW eBay is good for a few things..:) you have those few honest folks
out there who tell you EXACTLY what they are selling and even give ya
picture and start the bids at a very RESONABLE price..and three cheers
for those ppl..

but for the others who are ripping ppl off, get a spine.. nothing upsets
me more that a U2 fan trying to use their knowledge to dominate over
someone who maybe has just started collecting and really hasn't had the
time to research into the item, or doesn't know where to start.

So come on ppl..:) lets be fair and show eBay that U2 fans are the most
honest and caring fans around..

AFter all, it's all about sharing the music right? :)

take care all..:)

-=I don't know about the REST of THEM, but i'm COOL=-
