     It seems Rob has really lost it now. He continues to worship
"Sweet Fire Of Love" and calls it a great track. Sure I agree because
most of U2's tracks are great anyway, but they were definitely not
good enough to make the album, meaning 11 songs in JT are better and
even the 12 songs in POP. Those songs you refer to belong in the same
cabinet as Boomerang and Holy Joe. Of course Bono would have great
vocals there, because that was during the so-called JT era you
worshipped. So what have you to say about "Sweetest Thing"? I find
it a great track but Bono there doesn't have his vocals.

   There is also really no point in arguing about sound quality and
mics because all your arguments ar invalid. First off, you are
clinging to the claim of some magazine you just read about Zoo Europa.
 Then you go comparing an official UABRS album with a bootleg of
Sarajevo. Going to Popheart, I'm sure everyone agrees that it's
infinitely better than UABRS. You are simply insulting U2's engineers
by saying it is "ultra compressed, flat as a pancake sonically, zero
dynamics." Why don't you just apply for sound enginner for U2? If
you claim all those soundboard suck, then maybe you should just man
those soundboards yourself.

I am not clinging to Bono's falsetto vocal, I am justusingit as an
example of his maturing vocal prowess to make up for deterioation of
the "physical" side of his vocals due to age (take note i talk about
the physicla side of the vocal and not the emotional). No JT falsetto
could match his ZOO TV falsettos in Can't Help Falling in Love and Im
sure Wire will attest to that.

If you had it your way, U2 would record all their live tracks nto from
teh soundboard but from the audince. If you had it your way, Bono
would just scream at every song in the book. If you had it your way,
the whole of Wire would stop asking for sounboard boots but will
instead aks for your mono (or maybe "barely stereo") sounding audience
boots.

And I thought you just made your "last post on looseness" to the
delight og the Wire community..
