Yes, there is indeed a Smiths-U2 connection. Morrissey presented them an
award at some show earlier this year. Hot Press, perhaps? Best live
band, maybe? Anyone?
Also, here's a degree-thing:
Edge and Sinead worked together on "Captive"
Sinead worked with Andy Rourke (Bass for Smiths) on "I do not want..."
So, there's another connection for you!
And...Morrissey and U2 are both on Island now.
