An other British magazine DOESNīT slam U2

Hello Wire,

So I had to let off some steam yesterday and I still think that NME is
one of the worst music papers in the world (Smash Hits, Bravo and other
teen mags at least do not hide their intentions). So why do I still buy
that waste of paper when it has a U2-feature? Donīt know, probably
because it has U2.
However, my faith in British mags is a bit restored. Yesterday I bought
the Q of december (OK, so it is out for a long time, but yesterday was
the first day I saw it in Spain) with the interview with The Edge and
their review of TBO. They can at least write a good review (with valid
critique, etc.) and their sense of humour is also better (not trying to
make a too large fool out of the artist).
Whatīs the point of this post? I donīt know. Maybe that they put The
Sweetest Thing on their list of favourite current singles and Dancing
Barefoot on their list of favourite tracks for in the office. And they
also had some sales figures. Up to going to press, Pop had sold 45.000
copies in the US this year, which is not as well as The Joshua Tree.
That album had sold 103.000 copies in the same period.

BTW, yesterday I asked your opinions about the limited edition becoming
increasingly rare. Well, Iīve stopped thinking about it for the moment.
Apparently, a whole new shipment of the limited edition has arrived in
Madrid. Everybody who wants the compilation has again a choice... for
the moment.

Have fun listening to it.

Marty
