U2 wear me out!

So I'm on the subway today.. the A train, specifically, and it's
crowded. It's rush hour and lots of people are going home from work.
Usually I'm content to bury my nose in a book, but today I drown myself
in POP and stare at the knees of the people across from me.

And just as the first strains of If God Will Send His Angels surround my
head, a woman in a brown leather coat gets on the train and stands
directly in front of me, steadying herself with the bar above me. At
first, I'm disappointed because she has blocked my view of the very
interesting knees of the people across from me. But I stare at the
brass buttons on her coat, because they have caught my eye.

In the center of each button, there is a five-pointed star with "U2"
inside. Around the outside, the words "U2 Wear Me Out!". I think I'm
mistaken at first... U2 on a leather coat? But I look closer and
smile.

Well, wouldn't you?
